Living with the Land

Quote of the day today – one that stopped me in my tracks and made me feel it was worth coming across the globe for. After a fascinating account of how Perth sites can show continuity of function across the change from Aboriginal to European culture ‘So, it’s not what we want from the land but what the land wants from us’.

Indeed and indeed but so good to hear it out loud.  Many thanks, Rusty Creighton.  I am now looking even more forward to heading out into the bush to find out what I can hear in this unfamiliar wild place.
